Specific duties include:

• Development, specification, and installation of IP-based security systems for counter-UAS solutions.
• Integration of hardware and software components.
• International deployments, involving travel for one week per month.
• Assembly and testing of electronic components, including soldering.
• Research and development of IP networking solutions.
• Working in tandem with CAD engineers on PCB designs.
• Coordinating with team members across multiple projects.

Required:

• BEng or MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Engineering.
• Certification in CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IP-based security systems.
• Proficiency in IP networking and protocols.
• Strong soldering skills.
• Full UK Drivers Licence.

Desirable:

• Military training in relevant technical skills.
• City & Guilds 1853 – CCTV Systems.
• Certified in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• IPC Soldering Certification.
• Drone Pilot Certification.

‘Must Have’ Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Adept at meeting deadlines both independently and within teams.
• Keen attention to detail.

Travel will be a key part of this role. Candidates should be willing and able to travel internationally for one week per month.

SC-level security clearance may be necessary, and candidates should either have this clearance or be capable of obtaining it.
